An All Progressives Congress candidate for Oshodi /Isolo Federal constituency 1, Muyiwa Timothy Olabintan, has kicked against the presentation of Certificate of Return to the Peoples Democratic Party candidate as the winner of the March 28 National Assembly Election in the area.
Olabintan described the election in the area as inconclusive, adding that the Independent National Electoral Commissioner is aware.

He added that INEC, which conducted the election, had fixed the supplementary election the following day which never took place.
He noted further that election never took place in about 22 polling units to determine the winner.
He therefore queried the yardstick used by the INEC to declare his opponent the winner of the election.
Olabintan accused INEC of trying to cause unnecessary litigation and tension in a place where peace has always reigned.
He pleaded with his supporters and residents of his constituency to be calm and remain resolute, adding that necessary action would be taken to retrieve their mandate.
