The All Progressives Congress came out with a statement alerting public on fake APC consultants for appointments, saying no consultants have ever been hired by APC for that purpose.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) warns public over new scam scheme including some “419” text messages.
Those people who are seeking federal appointments in the new Buhari administration shouldn’t contact any consultants neither via telephone nor through e-mail, warned the party’s National Publicity Secretary Alhaji Lai Mohammed, as long as no consultants have ever been hired by APC for that purpose.

‘’Even when it is obvious that those behind these messages are merely seeking to swindle innocent Nigerians, some desperate persons may still fall prey to the evil machinations of the con artists. This is why we have decided to alert Nigerians to the fraudulent text messages’’, said in a public APC statement voiced by APC spokesman.
Earlier APC declared that any information concerning federal appointments would be given via regular communication channels.
