Super Eagles and Watford striker Odion Ighalo says he wants to continue his scoring streak against last season’s champions Chelsea when they meet on Boxing day.
The striker has five goals in his last four games including two in the last game against Liverpool.
Ighalo celebrates a goal against Liverpool along side the official Watford mascot.
Ighalo was quoted as saying by africanfootball.com: “I am looking forward to a good outing against Chelsea on Saturday the same way it has been for the previous games. I am looking forward to score in the game because that’s my target in every game and to help my team get good result,” said Ighalo, who has netted 12 goals thus far.
“It is definitely going to be a tough and difficult game.”

On the other hand Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has warned his players to be wary of Ighalo and his strike partner Troy Deeney.
He said: “I have a lot of respect for Watford. They are very disciplined and have two very strong strikers in (Odion) Ighalo and (Troy) Deeney
“The strikers are very dangerous and have shown that frequently this season.
“I have lots of respect for what they have done but hopefully things can go positively for us. We need a sequence of positive results. Teams like Leicester, Crystal Palace and Watford are near the top of the league.
“That means all the teams can kill each other. You have seen the games for the last six months, any team can beat any other.”
Watford are seventh on the EPL table, 10 points ahead of reigning champions Chelsea. Ighalo has 12 goals in the league this season while Watford have scored 23 in total after 17 games.
