Wikki Tourists coach Abdu Maikaba has quit the club to sign for another top flight team.

Maikaba has been linked to the Sunshine Stars job since Kennedy Boboye quit his post but it has not been revealed that the coach will be joining Abia Warriors who are managerless after Ladun Bosso quit his post.

A source told africanfootball.com: “Maikaba has quit Wikki and he is now strongly linked with another premier league side, Abia Warriors.”
The former Enyimba and Kano Pillars was lauded for his job at Wikki Tourists last season as he led the club to continental football with a bunch of rookies and a shoe-string budget.
Maikaba led Wikki Tourists to fourth place in the just-concluded Nigeria Premier League season.
