Apostle Eugene Ogu has predicted that Nigeria will experience economic boom in 2016.

Vanguard reports that Apostle Ogu made his optimistic prediction during the crossover night in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

He said that Nigeria’s economy would shock the nations and bounce back strong to the amazement of Nigerians.

The cleric added that despite the fall in oil price which negatively affected the economy, the country’s currency would gain strength in the first quarter of 2016.

“Nigeria’s economy will shock the nations of the world. 2016 is a year of divine promotion by the will of God. No man or political party will ever toy with the destiny of Nigerians again. Those who dug the pit of corruption will fall into it.

“The change that Nigerians have been praying for from the past bad leadership is from God and not from man or any political party. Nigerians will soon see the genuine change that is from God. The country’s naira will regain its strength in the first quarter of this year,” he said.

Meanwhile, Bro. Joshua Iginla, the general overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, has also unveiled

“In 2016, the economy of the country will be very tasking and quite challenging. If care is not taking it will navigate into serious recession. I see strong hardship in terms of the economy,” he said.

Another popular pastor, Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, that “things are likely to get tougher before they get better, but things will get better before the end of this year”.
