The group which is said to be one of Nigeria’s foremost anti-corruption coalitions in a statement issued on Sunday, January 3, signed by its chairman, Olanrewaju Suraju, tasked the ministers to publicly declare their assets in synchronization with the ongoing fight against corruption.
According to the group, when the ministers publicly declare their assets, it will go a long way to prove the determination of the ministers to key into President Buhari’s non tolerance for corruption as well as his promise to operate a transparent government.
The CSNAC pointed out that Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo acted according to the law as prescribed in Section 140 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended), and declared their assets publicly.
