Popular Ghanaian actor and fashion designer, Elikem Kumordzi, has revealed his Zimbabwean wife, Pokello Nare, gets really uncomfortable when he plays romantic roles in movies.

The former Big Brother Africa 2013 (The Chase) housemates, Pokello and Elikem Kumordzie started their steamy romance on the reality show and got married in June 2015. They have also welcomed their first child.

Kumordzie said his wife has issues with him taking up such roles, especially those that require him kissing a lady.

Speaking on PopTV, the Ghollywood cum Nollywood act said: “My wife doesn’t really like it when I take up characters that require me to kiss.

“Sometime she goes like, why don’t they give you like a bad guy role, a gangster or anything but a kissing role?’

“For me, I think it is just normal that any woman shows concern but that is just it, but she would rather I play non-romantic roles.”

It seems Pokello is not lone in this jealousy game, Wife of popular Nollywood actor, Peace Ugezu has come out to publicly reveal why she does not watch Nigerian movies especially the ones that has her husband, Ugezu Jideofor Ugezu in it.
