Fani-Kayode, others salute brave Fayose over Ekiti’s new anti-herdsmen law

– Fani-Kayode has urged other governors in the south to emulate Ekiti governor, Ayodele Fayose by putting up laws that check out activities of Fulani herdsmen

– The former aviation minister says that he is proud of Fayose and Ekiti people for taking a stand against the rampaging herdsmen

– Many Nigerians are in agreement with Fani-Kayode because they believe also that this move would check the herdsmen 

Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode says Fayose has done well against herdsmen

Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has applauded Ekiti governor, Ayodele Fayose for his braveness by signing into law a legislation that prohibits grazing in the state.

Fani-Kayode sang Fayose’s praises on social media platforms, Twitter and Facebook, and urged other governors to follow suit in order to curb the menace of Fulani herdsmen.

“I am proud of Gov. Ayo Fayose and the people of Ekiti state for signing into law legislation which bans grazing rights for the Fulani herdsmen in the state and which prevents them from carrying firearms.

“By this bold and courageous act Fayose and the Ekiti State House of Assembly have saved many lives.

“Every governor in the south and the Middle Belt should find the courage to emulate them and do the same,” Fani-Kayode said in a Facebook post.
