Two persons are still underneath a collapsed building in Gwarinpa, Abuja as rescue workers are currently trying to rescue them.
The building which collapsed in the middle of the night injured seven people but has trapped two un-identified persons, who have not been rescued as at the time of this report.
Officials of construction giant, Julius Berger, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigerian police are currently trying to rescue the trapped victims.
The injured and those trapped are believed to be construction workers who have been working on the structure for a while.
An eye-witness in the area who spoke under the condition of anonymity, hailed the efforts of the rescue agencies in rescuing the victims. According to him , they arrived on time.

“They were very quick to respond. It did not take time for them to arrive and immediately begin the rescue. It is commendable,” he said.
